Main emphasis is put on the questions „Why are women underrepresented in natural science and engineering?” „What’s the role of gender in engineering?“

Projects are developed to raise the share of women in engineering and technology occupation. Women-specific workshops, research projects and events are aimed at dismantling the stereotype of women’s technological ineptitude and at highlighting their competencies.
University studies, entry into the world of work and careers of women engineers are analysed and structural changes initiated. Special emphasis is also placed on devising models for the involvement of women in developing and designing technology, be it as users, as persons affected or as experts.
